Folks, I am pleased to announce that at long last - AT LONG LAST - Jing has arrived in Indiana. As I'd feared, he took a multi week siesta somewhere on the California coast, waiting for transportation to get him moving from dock to rail to truck. But at long last he's traveled the last leg to get here. I am waiting on an appointment with the warehouse so I can go in and load up. And then I start shipping.

As a result, I am declaring March "The Month of Jing."

That's right. It's time to wake up from our long sleep. It's time to stretch our bones and fire up our imaginations. It's time to dig down to the bottom of this crazy megadungeon and see what's inside. To see what makes it tick. I promise - you are going to be surprised.

Here's what's happening in March to celebrate Jing's arrival

• Fulfillment will begin in the first week of March. I am targeting fulfillment to be completed within 3 weeks.
• Player friendly maps will be updated with fixes for several maps to make them more usable.
• I'll be sharing a series of "walkthrough" videos of the book. I'll explain it piece-by-piece so you can make the most of it and decide in advance the best way to use it with your group. I'll share some background information with you as to how the book came to be, the highlights of each level, and any other interesting tidbits I can remember about Jing's amazing home.
• We'll be tweeting and posting Jing related stuff through our social media.
• As a grande finale on April 1st and/or the weekend after, we'll be running The Tower of Jing as an online game. The Tower of Jing is a distilled version of the temple that I often run with multiple DMs at Gen Con and other shows. It's hilarious fun even if you can only watch. More details on this special event will follow. Stay tuned!

Folks, I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally be here. You've been an incredibly patient group of backers and I can't thank you enough. Please join me in celebrating this milestone. Let's get down to what Jing is really about - folks getting together and having fun! It's what Jing would want!

Jing on the Water, Jing up in the Sky

If you know the song "smoke on the water" by Deep Purple, I want you to read the title of this update with that song in mind. Because I am ROCKING OUT to the fact that Jing will be landing soon. If you don't know that song - hey it's a classic! Check it out! Anyways, here's what that means for Jing.

North America

The bulk of the books are headed to North America by ship. The ship left port weeks ago and is estimated to reach the USA on February 9th. That doesn't mean we start shipping then. The book has to wait to get off the boat, get on a truck, get sent to a warehouse, all of that before we even get our hands on it. But it's good to have something to look forward to.

Europe

Books are traveling by air and SHOULD be landing there within days. HOWEVER, due to Brexit, there is a good bit of chaos happening with duties and my understanding is that Jing could easily be pulled aside and/or held in customs. Regardless, once it's in the hands of our Fulfillment company we'll let you know.

Rest of the World

You ship from the USA or Europe as applicable. Stay tuned!

Need to Update Your Address?

Folks, had I known we were going to face these unbelievable delays I never would have locked your addresses. Some of you may have moved so before we ship anything, we'll send out several reminders to check your addys. Because they are locked, you'll have to get me to manually unlock your address in BackerKit in order to change it. And that's no problem, just DM me.

Time to Start Thinking Jing

Folks in February I will begin promoting this project once again so expect to start hearing from me. I intend to shoot some videos to give you background information, tips and tricks, and IMHO the best way to use the book. I'll make them available here and on Facebook. My hope is to rebuild some of the energy we've lost along the way, and get you excited to run Jing for your friends.

When I was a kid, a hamburger "Deluxe" meant it came with lettuce,  tomato, onion, and pickle. I was always excited when my mother allowed  me to order one.

I present to you Jing Deluxe. Those of you who ordered this version are going to be as excited as I was to eat that hamburger.*

Hi folks! I hope those of you who celebrate it had a fantastic Halloween. You can tell from my backdrop that *I* celebrate it. And unfortunately, the holiday got in my way or you would have had this a few days ago. I hope you are all doing well, and that you and yours are safe and healthy.
